Everything I can tell you about...

Visceral Manipulation

Visceral Manipulation is a gentle, highly specific manual therapy that works with the internal organs and the connective tissues that surround and support them. These tissues can hold tension, restriction, and imbalance that contribute to chronic pain and dysfunction throughout the body.

Unlike traditional deep tissue work, which focuses mainly on muscles, Visceral Manipulation addresses deeper layers of the body’s structure including the digestive, respiratory, and reproductive systems. By releasing restrictions around the organs and improving their mobility, this work can help restore balance, improve posture, and relieve pain that never seems to fully go away.

Clients often seek out Visceral Manipulation after years of chasing temporary relief. This approach invites the body to reorganize itself from the inside out, working on the root of chronic tension patterns. It is subtle but powerful, working with the nervous system to create lasting change in both structure and function.

The Emotional Connection

Our organs often hold unresolved tension from past stress, trauma, and emotional overwhelm. Just as we can carry stress in our shoulders or jaw, we can also carry it in our gut, chest, or pelvis. Visceral Manipulation offers a way to gently release these deeper patterns and invite the body into a state of ease.

Clients often report feeling:

• Lighter, more grounded, or more emotionally balanced after sessions

• A greater sense of connection between their body and emotions

• Surprising emotional clarity or release following the session

• Relief from symptoms that were previously unresponsive to other treatments

This work is especially supportive for those navigating the long journey of healing, and for anyone wanting to reconnect with their body in a more intimate, integrated way.

Session Frequency & Integration

Due to the depth and subtlety of this work, Visceral Manipulation is typically recommended no more than once every four weeks. The body needs time to process, unwind, and integrate the changes that arise during a session.

Integration looks different for everyone. Some people feel an immediate shift, while others may notice a gradual unfolding over days or weeks. It’s common for first-time clients to feel deeply tired or in need of rest for a few days afterward, sometimes describing the urge to sleep for three days. Others feel energized, clear-headed, or more mobile. All responses are valid and welcomed.

This therapy honors the body’s natural pace, allowing deep shifts to emerge gently and sustainably over time.
